Casement Window crank and latch replacement

Question

Hi there experts. I'm looking to replace my casement crank and sash lock hardware to allow for plantation shutters to get installed. I'm looking for the lowest profile for both so that I can fit as much of the shutter mount with as little notching possible. I would ideally prefer it to be as flat as possible.

The hardware looks like it was originally Truth branded (crank + sash lock). Windows were installed some time around 88-92'.

What I did on my windows at home was install a 39-205 folding handle. You could also use the cover and handle replacement kit, 39-107FK. As for the lock, I don't believe there is one to replace the 38-075 with a lower profile. You might be stuck on a lot of this, because the Truth hardware on your window isn't made to work with plantation shutters, unfortunately.
