Window handle has a hexagon nipple on it with 2 holes on it.there is also a push button on the handle which appears to relieve pressure so the handle can snap into the crank.i have another window of the same crank and handle.i tried to switch the handle but no luck leading me to believe it is the crank
Thanks

Hello! You're right, usually when these handles strip out like this, it's a sign that the little "collar" that holds these handles in place has broken. That usually necessitates replacing the entire operator.

Yours appears to be an older style of our 39-330 or 39-329, depending on handing. You'll notice one big difference right away, which is that the operator is "male" instead of "female." For some reason the manufacturer changed that detail, so it means you'll need a new handle as well as a new operator. I suggest the 39-232, but something like our 39-205 will also work and will probably look a little closer to the older handles.
