A quick learner from New Jersey says:
I was comparing my lock to the 38-097. the thickest part is 5/8,the thinner is 7/16 . How much r they? Maybe I?ll get 2 right and 2 left to Match . Can I return them if they don?t fit right. Thanks

Casey from SWISCO responded:

Yes, this is an old version of our 38-097 and 38-098 sash locks. You'll also need a new keeper, our 38-079, since the old keeper won't work with the new locks. We do have a 30-day return policy which you can review here, but I am confident that these parts will work for you.
