Casement lock won't reach

Question

I just bought 21 of the 38-097 casement window locks. They look a lot like my originals, but the sweep won't reach the keeper. What can I do?

Yep, the old keeper is unfortunately not compatible with the newer style locks. We recommend our 38-079 instead. This is designed to work specifically with the 38-097 and 38-098.
