Casement operator differences

I ordered 39-028. It does not seem to be an exact fit. Any help would be appreciated. The straight piece's end on the new part is round and my part is square. Also, the arm is about 2" shorter-which I knew about. The house is built in 1978. Hope that helps.

Hello,

I would suggest replacing the track on the sash with our 39-533 casement operator track. As for the arm length I don't think that will be a problem.
