Casement operator mechanism

A quick learner from Carlsbad, CA says:

Hello Brilliant Swisco Folks,

We need you again! We have a casement with the operator arms all rusted and discombobulated. The crank handle mechanism is fine; it was replaced a couple of years ago.

The originals are all Truth parts with the following numbers: 32374, 32010, 32011. There is also a guide piece that goes on top of the casement that the arm slides into. It is similar to the 32374, but does not have a part number and appears to be recently replaced, though the screws have corroded themselves into a permanent unhappy marriage to the guide.

Can you help?

Thank you,

Sherilynne

Hello again, Sherilynne. I'm very confident that you can use our 36-048 to replace your old hinge. It may look a little different but as long as you replace the top and bottom at the same time then it should work fine.

Concerning the operator and bracket, see our 39-221B and 39-546, respectively. We also sell the 39-451 cover and handle separately.

As always, you guys are the best. Thanks Tom!

Best to you,
