Casement replacement lock

Question

I have a Hurd window (approximately 20 years old) that the lock does not latch anymore. The latch freely moves up and down with "catching". I have not removed the part because I will not be able to close the window as we had to push it closed and it's a second story window.

I do have other windows in the house that are the same if you need photos of those.

Thanks for reaching out! There is a good chance we can supply you with a replacement for your casement window lock but I will need to see a photo of it removed from the window to confirm. I do understand that this may be difficult, given the fact that the window will not close, however I'll need to see the details of the inner components of the lock to be able to identify the correct fit.

You'll also need to have the lock removed to confirm any dimensions.
