Casement stays for old steel casement windows

Question

I have seen new brass fittings that ALMOST would work except mine do not attach to the sill, but to the window.

I believe you are referring to our of the 39-077. These are mounted to the window sill, like you mentioned. I'm afraid we don't have anything else that could potentially work for this old window. Would it be possible to install some type of block under the 39-077 to make the installation work?
