Casement window center split arm assembly

A quick learner from Rochester, VT says:

I work at Rochester Central School. We have several windows with the 1986 version US patent 4505601 other numbers 45301 , 3, truth made in USA. I have 2 new spares but have several windows missing the center gear mechanism that operates the arms . Is it possible to get the center replacements and be able to crank the arms? Are these available with parts or just the whole assembly? 

Why I ask is this style is under the trim casement of the window frame to get to the screws to replace the assembly. I am enclosing photos of the spare new one in stock. 

I would appreciate any help to order some replacement parts. Sincerely , Van

Hi, Van.

I'm afraid it's not possible to replace just the worm gear or operator arms so you'll need a whole new assembly. The one in your pictures looks like a match for our 39-348 but compare our dimensions with yours to confirm this matches up.
