Casement window crank

Question

Truth 25251 is cast into the part. 07302003 1446 is laser printed on the operator. This is from a Marvin Infinity window circa 2003. It seems to be very similar to your part 39-172 but the arm is 5 in whereas my arm is 4 1/2 in.

I am afraid we don't have an operator in the style of the 39-171 and 39-172 with a link arm that measures 4-1/2" long, though other customers have brought up the same issue in the past. There are a few options. First, you could try installing this operator as is and test it to see if it works regardless of the difference in link arm length. Your second option would be to move the bracket arm on the sash to compensate for the difference. Consider both options to see if one of them could work for your repair. Thanks for posting!
