This is an old Marvin Window casement window. Is the part available or a part that can be substituted

Hey there,

Thanks for reaching out! Your window operator has become stripped. That said, you'll need to replace the entire operator to repair the window.

I'm happy to recommend a replacement but I'll need to see a photo of the arm(s) and how the operator connects to the bottom of the swinging window sash.

Your window operator is a match for the 39-031 EntryGard Dual Arm Operator. I'm confident this should be the one you need but be sure to look over the dimensions and compare them.
