Quick Learner
Single crank turns 2 arms to open Window can crank out but assembly just unscrews and falls apart when you try to crank it in.
Is there a replacement assembly?

Thanks for writing in! Your awning window operator is stripped at the worm gear. This is the part that interacts with the gears on the inside of the operator helping to move the arms in and out. That said, you'll need to replace the entire operator.

It appears you have the 39-083 Dual Arm Crank which has a 21-1/2" wingspan measurement. To confirm if this is the right replacement, you'll need to detach the operator from the bottom of the swinging sash and confirm this dimension.

If you are looking to replace the handle, you'll need the 39-114L. The compatible bracket is the 39-170 Window Sash Bracket.
