Casement window replacement operator

A home owner from 80123 says:
Hi,
I'm searching for a RH casement window operator crank. The window is a Windsor wood frame & house was built apprx 1980-81. Looks like the operator is a Truth. The extension arm measure 9 1/2 inches from pivot point to middle of roller. The crank body is 4 inches wide x 2 inches deep and screws are 3 inch spacing.

Thanks,
Bob

Hello, Bob. This looks like an older version of our 39-028E. Look it over and let me know if you agree.

A home owner from 80123 says:
I do agree part 39-028E is the correct fit. I do have a couple other questions.

1. What is the height? My part is 5/8 inch.
2. I am also considering a replacement track. Looks to me 39-505 is the match to 39-028E. However, my track is 13 3/4 inches long & it does have 4 screw holes. Will 39-505 work?

Tom from SWISCO responded:

Hey, Bob. The total height of the 39-028E, assuming a handle is attached, is approximately 1-1/2". Without a handle it's more like 3/4". I don't think height will really be an issue, though. To my knowledge Truth didn't make these operators with a bunch of different heights.

The 39-028E is designed to work with the 39-505, so I see no reason why it can't work. You may need to drill new holes but that should be about it.
