Will the Sash Crank Operator for the pella 39-175 fix a casement window that isn't quite shutting?

Replacing the 39-175 operator may help as long as the original operator is the only broken part and the specifications below match up to yours. You may also want to check the hinges that support the top and bottom of the window sash, which could also cause this type of problem. Thank you!
