Center lever patio door handle

A professional from Pennsylvania says:
Hi Swisco,
I found your patio lock 82-089 to be very similar to this one below, however the screw pattern on the one below has the screws go through the handle whereas the one you list has the screws go below the handle.

Could you confirm if your part 82-089 could retrofit here or if not identify the part that could work here?
The lock I'm trying to find a replacement four has the mounting holes through the handles themselves per photo below and at a distance between mounting screws of closer to 5"

Are you aware of a replacement handle for this type of lock?

Bob from SWISCO responded:

Hello there. The mortise lock looks like our 82-226. Review the dimensions to see if it matches up. As far as the handle set goes, it looks like the thumb lever is centered, whereas on our 82-089 the thumb lever is offset towards the bottom of the handle set. Interestingly, it does look like that's the case on the outside key lock, so I'm a bit confused--are your handles not aligned? You might be safer going with a handle set like our 82-030, which can be adjusted for different positions.

A professional from Pennsylvania says:
The problem on the existing handle is the inside thumb turn piece snapped off and is not repairable.
We attempted to install a lever with 3-15/16" hole centers sourced locally and it did not seem to be compatible (perhaps we lack proper installation knowledge?)
When you suggest that the 82-030 is adjustable, are you suggesting it can be made to work assuming the customer does have the 82-226 mortise lock?

Casey from SWISCO responded:

When Bob says that the 82-030 is adjustable, he means that the thumb latch can be positioned either centered, higher or lower on the handles backplate and that it is commonly used with the 82-226 mortise lock. If all of the dimensions match up, the 82-030 would be our best recommendation but if you run into any problems, you can view our return policy here. Thanks for posting!
