Certainteed Coil Spring Short Tongue 3/4" SA 3610

Question

Hi.  We can't find SA 3610 on any of your coil springs for our Certainteed windows.  The windows are about 15 years old.  What spring would be the equivalent?  Thx for the help.

Thanks for posting. This shoe looks like our 15-192. It is compatible with our Series 170 Coil Springs. I'm not entirely sure what your stamp number represents, so to find the correct spring weight, I advise that you weigh your window sash. Divide that exact weight in half, and that will tell you the spring weight you need on each side of the window. For instance, if your window sash weighed 10 lbs, you could use the S170-405, which supports 5 lbs of weight individually.
