Hi there, I am a landlord in Whitehall, Pa and I have Certainteed replacement windows in my rental property. I need to replace a set of window locks on one window. These are over 20 years old but still in great shape. Can you tell me if all the window locks for these replacement windows are universal? Or do I need to have some numbers off the side of the window to find out which replacement parts I need. Thanks so much,
Dawn

Typically, window locks are not universal. The most important measurement (but not the only one) is the spread between the mounting screw-holes. The new part needs to fit those same screw-holes. If you want us to try to ID something for you, send a photo and that screw-hole distance, and we will make suggestions.
