These screws have a spring with a piece shaped like an eye that attaches to the frame of the window which holds the screen to the window.

Can you show me a picture of the part in question? There are many parts that may match your description and I don't know exactly what you have.

I am also looking for these spring clips . When you measure them, do you remove the cap and just measure the stem part. I see they come in 1 inch and 1and 1/8.

We measure these assuming the entire assembly is put together. You can refer to the diagram below to get an idea of what I mean.
