Certainteed window pivot lock

Thanks for writing in! Your CertainTeed pivot shoe is no longer made but our 15-192 CertaintTeed Pivot Shoe should work well as a replacement; although, you may need to shave down the aligners from the shoe to install it into the window. Take a look at the dimensions to confirm if it may work for you.

In regard to the coil balance spring, you are correct, the S170-409 is the correct replacement.  These are secured to the shoe using the 33-072 screw.

The compatible cover is the 15-156 CertainTeed Lance Spring Cover used along with the 15-157 CertainTeed Balance Drum.

You may want to double check the pivot bar at the bottom of the sash to confirm that your existing bar would fit into the metal cam.
