Certainteed window replacement parts

Question

I have identified pivot bars[26-175) the pivot style shoe (15-192j,and the balance drum(15-157) but the coil balance spring does not have a number stamped on it so I don?t know if it?s a S-170-407 or 408 or 409. Is there another way to identify it

Yes there is. You'd want to weigh your window sash and divide it by two. Once you have that number, you can begin to go through each coil spring to see which one would best accommodate the sash: the S170-407, S170-408, or the S170-409.
