Chanel balance

Question

I purchased 25 Bonneville windows in 2000. More than 10 of the windows have issues with the Chanel balance. The windows are of various sizes. On many the nylon string is cut or frayed. Can these pieces be purchased and are they easy to change.

Thanks for reaching out! I cannot confirm whether these balances are easy to replace or not because that will depend on how comfortable you are with completing this project. That said, I'm am certain that it is doable.

I'll need to see a photo of the existing balances removed from the window to identify them and determine if there is a replacement we can recommend. Please see the tutorial below for a detailed demonstration on how to get them removed.

Once you have them removed, I'll need to see clear photos of the top and bottom attachments on the balances. I will also need to know the stamp/marking on them.
