The 39-554 bracket has a detachable clip on top, which you'll need to disengage to detach the operator arm. If it's tough to move, you can use something like a slotted screwdriver for leverage. The bracket attaches to the sash frame with screws. Thanks for posting, and let us know if you need anything else!
