Change vertical style of lever to allow opening and closing shades without closing the window

Hi Swisco,

I recently had shades installed that didn't take the position of the window lever in to account.
My general question: is it possible to add a different type of lever that doesn't stick out vertically?
The windows are 20 years old.

Hi, Susan.

Thank you for reaching out to us. Your operator resembles something like our 39-070 but I'm afraid you can't replace or change the lever. It's built into the mechanism itself and isn't designed to be removed, unfortunately. I am very sorry for the inconvenience.
