Channel Balance

A home owner from USA says:
Here's what I got:

-- Metal part is 30 & 1/2" in length

-- Non-tilt window

-- Balance width is 1/2"

-- Slider top fitting has plastic tab that hooks onto frame metal tab which to grabs and hold "balance slider" in the frame track when metal frame tab is open. Does not grab balance slider when metal tab is closed (recessed) Color of tab is off white.

-- Botton tab extends into and towards window frame "cavity "and under window frame bottom. Color of tab is off white.

-- Not sure what you mean by bottom tab depth. Bottom tab basically goes down and sideway, both on angles. Sideways is about 3/8" - strictly horizonal measurement. Bottom is about 1/4" - strictly vertical measurement.

As discussed, metal measurement is exactly 30 & 3/8" in length. Please provide custom section with previous pictures and emails. Thanks.

Hello,

It looks like you have either our S351, with a 15-002 bottom attachment, or S390, with a 15-001 bottom attachment. Take a look at the image below to determine which balance you'll need.

You also mentioned that your balance channel measures 30-1/2" long, which we can supply but it would need to be a custom order since our stock balances come in even inch lengths. You also mentioned at the end of your post that the metal channel measured 30-3/8" long. Please confirm the exact metal channel length, as well as the number of balances that you need, and we can go from there. Thank you!

Thanks for getting back to us. Unfortunately, we can not provide custom balances with a 30-3/8" long metal channel. If that is the exact length of your balance, neither custom  30-1/2" balances nor our stock S390 balances that come in even-inch increments would work as a replacement. We apologize for the inconvenience.

A home owner from Collingswood, New Jersey says:

Casey, Good morning! Would like to proceed with buying some window balances. Metal length is exactly 30 & 3/8". Balance width is 1/2". Balance shoe width measures 1 & 1/8" which is S390, 15-001. No tilt window. Would like to buy 2 or 4 balancers.

Please provide your response on an email with a link. I don't have a clue how to text. It might be easier to discuss. Hope this helps.

I understand that you are in need of new balances but, as we mentioned, we do not carry replacement balances that end in 3/8" increments. Unfortunately, neither our stock nor custom balances would work to replace 30-3/8" long balances. I'm sorry that we won't be able to provide the balances that you're looking for.
