Channel Balance

Home Owner from Orlando, FL
Hello,

I am needing to purchase new channel balancers. This home was built in the late 1980's. The only marking I am able to see is 2810, on the channel. Can you please identify the correct part for me?
Thanks

Hello, thank you for posting,

To further review, we will need to see the channel balance removed from the window where we can see clear images of the top and bottom nylon attachments. From there we can narrow down the series needed for your window.

For the top sash guide, is the other side undamaged that we could see?

Hello, thanks for your reply. I was able to get better pictures of an undamaged one. Also the window guides are pictured. I need those as well.

Thank you,

It appears you have either the Series 351, with a 15-002 bottom attachment, or Series 390, with a 15-001 bottom attachment. Take a look at the image below to determine which balance you'll need.

The length of the metal channel excluding the nylon attachments should measure 29" long and you will need a 2810 stamp option.

For the top sash guide, please start by reviewing the dimensions of the 18-188 guide. Compare to your original to confirm a good fit! Let us know if you have any additional questions!
