Thanks for posting, and for the pictures! It appears that you have a peculiar balance. If at all possible, can you take a picture of a balance that has been completely assembled with these parts? That would help us get a better idea of what would work as a substitute.

Thank you. That certainly helps narrow things down. I just need to know a bit more information before we can offer a suitable replacement.
First, can you please confirm the length of your channel? Please make sure to metal the channel portion only--do not count the attachments in your measurements. Can you also give us the weight of your sash? To find that out, simply remove the sash from your window and place it on a scale. With that information, we should have enough to identify the appropriate Series balance. |

Can you please verify the length of your metal channel? The reason I ask is, this type of channel balance usually has a metal channel measuring in the 5/8", and if yours is a full 31" then it would have to be specially cut. Thank you.

you're right ... it's not 31" it's more like 30 and 13/16" or rounding approx 30 & 14/16 or 7/8".
