Series 380 Channel Balance, 26 5 CW CMC 10

I need to replace 2 channel balances. The 27" 380 series is identical to what I have. The old one has "26 5 CW CMC 10" imprinted on it. The sash weighs 30 lb. I am not sure about the option. is 2650 the right one?

Yes, the 2650 does sound like the correct stamp option. A 27" Series 380 balance with stamp option 2650 will carry a window sash weight range of 26 through and including 30 pounds; a balance with stamp 26 5 normally translates to 2650.

The given sash weight range is based on 2 balances per sash. Balances are designed assuming friction in the jamb weather-strip will carry a portion of the sash weight. Suggested sash weights are approximate.
