Channel Balance

A home owner from Cordova, TN says:
Good morning. I'm looking for two channel balance sizes. These are for Jordan windows installed in 2000.
a. 30" long, 830 BSI DL stamped on the U-Channel
b. 36" long, 3420 BSI LM stamped on the U-Channel
Please point me to the correct parts.

Thank you very much.

Thanks for posting. It looks like you're working with either Series 351 or Series 390 Channel Balances. The only difference between these two balance series is the 'depth' of the bottom nylon shoe, so compare both with your old hardware to see what matches best. Could you double-check the length of both sized balances? Be sure not to include the end attachments in these measurements. Finally, could you confirm the stamp code on the balance you have marked '830'? I suspect this is missing a digit. Many thanks.

A home owner from Cordova, TN says:
Thanks for the reply Bob. The shorter rod measures 29-1/32" and you are right I didn't see the full number. It is 2830 BSI DL. The longer rod, 3420 BSI LM measures 35-1/16". Three more pictures attached.

Thanks for writing in. You need either our S351-29 or S390-29, with a stamp option of 2830, as well as our S351-35 or S390-35, with a stamp option of 3420. The only difference between the Series 351 and Series 390 is the 'depth' of the bottom nylon shoe, so compare both with your old hardware to see what matches best.

Wonderful information and a wonder service. Looks like I need the 351 series. Thank you Bob, I'll put an order together.
