Channel Balance

Question

I need to replace a broken channel balance in a 35" wide (including 1"" sash on each side) X  64" high  window. Since the window is installed, I cannot measure the channel balance, nor can I see any product ID. Which balancer should I order? Does it come with the plastic guides? The existing guides are white/ivory.

Hello, thanks for writing in. In order to identify your channel balance we will need to see it removed from the window. There are a couple pieces of information we will need in particular. Firstly, we need to see clear images of the plastic attachments at either end of the metal channel. Next, we will need to know the length of the metal channel, disregarding those plastic attachments. Finally, we will need to see any stamps or imprints on the metal channel. If there are no stamps, you will need to weigh your window sash.
