I need help in identifying the Channel balance. It has number 2040# stamped on it. Length is 21". The window is a Milgard aluminum non tilt window.

This window balance can likely be replaced with the S351-21 or the S390-21. To determine which of these is the correct replacement, confirm the depth of the bottom shoe.

The 2040 stamp will support a sash weighing between 15 to 23lbs.
