Channel Balance Assistance

Question

I need to replace 30 of these 15 inch BSI 440 window balances.
Balance is 15 inches long,1/2 inch width, and 1&1/8 inch high. Please see attached photos. They are for single hung 26 inches on the diagonal windows.

See our S380-15 or S385-15. The only difference between these two balances is the bottom nylon shoe depth, or 'heel-to-toe' measurement. Your shoe looks potentially greater than 1" deep, in which case the Series 385 would be correct. But photos of rulers can be deceiving, so double-check to be safe.

You'll then need to choose a stamp option. Check if that '440' doesn't actually read 1440, as that would be one possible stamp option. If you're uncertain, obtain the exact weight of the window sash. You can then match that exact weight with one of the weight ranges we listed alongside each stamp option under the balance's product description.
