Channel Balance ID

A purchasing agent from Seattle says:
Hi I have a 9/16" channel balancer that needs a replacement part. It's 26" and I was wondering if the 16 is the amount of weight it can hold up. I don't have the sash size, the customer only brought the part needed.

Thanks for writing in. See our S351-26 and S390-26. The only difference between these two balances is the 'depth' of the bottom nylon shoe, so compare both with your old hardware to see what matches best.

The most pertinent numbers on your stamp code are likely the '25C', which conforms to our stamp option of 2530, which is for a window sash in the weight range of 15 through 19 lbs. It may be best to find a way to weigh the window sash, so you know for sure the exact weight of the sash falls within this range. Many thanks.
