Channel Balance Identification

Question

The metal is 27" long, 1/2 " wide. The stamp says 26-4 DE5 CMC 54. I don't know the manufacturer of my windows. I need 8 sets to replace all balances in 8 windows. Please see pictures attached to help find correct part. Thank you for your help.

Thanks for posting. See either our S380-27 or S385-27. The only difference between these two balance Series is the 'depth' of the bottom nylon shoe. With the Series 380 the depth of this nylon shoe is 1", whereas with the Series 385 it is 1-3/32". Compare with your own and see what is best.

Once you know what balance to select, you will need to choose a stamp option. Your stamp of 26-4 conforms to our stamp option of 2640, which is for a window sash in the weight range of 19 through 26 lbs. Let us know if you have any questions.
