Channel Balance Identification

Home Owner from Blue Canyon
Channel is 1/2", balance shoe appears to be 15-004 (wings w/ 1 3/32" depth), length is 26"

Can you tell from the stamp what weight rating I need?

Thanks

Hello,

We'd be happy to help but we would need to see the top fitting attached to the opposite end of the channel as well to narrow down your replacement options. You'll need 2650 strength options for your replacement balances but that only indicates the spring strength, not the correct replacement. Thank you!

Here is the other end of the balance. Can you help with the correct replacement?

Thanks for getting back to us. The top fitting does help us narrow down your options but we recently discovered that there is a version of these Caldwell balances that uses a different type of spring and pulley connection than our stock balances. To determine if you need stock or custom balances, we'd need to see the connecting point between the spring and pulley of an undamaged balance.

Great, take a look at the S385-26 with 2520 spring strength options for your replacement balances. Thank you and let us know if you have any other questions or concerns.
