Hello, I am looking to order two channel balance parts for a non-tilt window that is approximately 30+ years old. I have uploaded three different picture views of the same type of channel balance, and a screenshot of the inside of the window frame. The length of the channel balance is 30 inches long (not including the plastic caps). I am unable to locate any stamps or markings on the original channel balance. If you will kindly assist in identifying the parts, I will order two of them. stamp number is 3040

Most Alcan windows use our are Series 380 channel balance. This comes with a 19-005 top and 15-005 bottom. I would compare your hardware with these just to confirm that it all matches up.
You stated you have a 30" metal balance channel with a stamp of 3040. Normally a stamp of 3040 has a 31" long metal channel. I would double check to be sure.
If you're positive your metal channel is 30" long, I recommend going with our S380-30 and then weighing your sash on a scale to confirm the best option for this length.
