Hello,
I need to order a S385-27 and it asks me to chose a from a list of options, and I am not sure how to determine which option I need. Can someone help?
Thanks!

The stamp option represents the strength of the channel balance. Locate the stamp on your channel balance. If your stamp does not match any of the stamp options available or you are unsure of which stamp option you should choose, you will have to remove the sash from the window and place it on a scale. Once you have an accurate weight, you can compare it to the list of options we have listed for the S385-27.
It is important that you choose only the option whose weight rating covers your sash weight. Do not go for a stronger option thinking it will help the window work better. In fact, the opposite would happen.
Finally, check out the video below to see how to replace this kind of balance. For future reference, all of this information can be found on each balance's respective page under the description.

It read 26 4. Here is a pick. Does this mean a 2640?

Yes, usually a stamp of 26 4 corresponds to our 2640 option. However, you should weigh your sash anyway, just to make certain.
