Channel Balance Shoe Replacement

Hello,
I ordered the series 710 28" balance with the 15-003 shoe attachment. The top attachment works perfectly but the shoe attachment does not. I attached the photos of the old shoe and am wondering which shoe attachment do I need to match the old one.

I'm surprised the 15-003 didn't work. We've used it to replace the shoe in your pictures for years. Can you go into more detail on how it didn't work?
