Channel Balance Specs

Quick Learner

My Channel Balance has "28-3 IS5 CMC43" printed on it. The metal part of it (not including the plastic feet?) seems to be just about 29 inches. I believe it is 1/2" wide (assuming this actually means it is around 9/16" wide, as it is definitely slightly over 1/2 an inch)

I also need to get new takeout clips which I think are of the narrow variety. Also, a piece of plastic covering on the top of one side of my windows popped off as I was trying to reinstall the channel balance--it looks like it would normally cover the top right and left corners of the windows and affix to a screw that is an inch or so below the top of the channel (down the side of the window) Is this something I could find a replacement for on Swisco as well?

Hello! I'm very confident that we can help you with each issue listed. Starting with the balance, can you please show me a clear photo of the connection point between the spring and the pulley? The company who made your balance has a particular way of making these, and it's basically a coin flip as to what version you'll have. Seeing that connection point will tell me which one it is.

The broken plastic part is called a top sash guide. We sell a ton of these. Before I recommend one, can you please show me a clear photo of an undamaged version out of the window? I'd like to see it from the front and side. Think of it like a mug shot.
