I'm very familiar with this top sash guide. As you've already surmised, it's not made anymore. The only alternative we have that will work is our 18-171. This installs in more or less the same principles, but it sticks up much higher at the top. You'll need to cut that down to size prior to installation to get it to fit in the clearance available.
