The installation of the new balances went pretty well, and 10 windows are running like new. Wife is happy. :)
However, on the last window (seriously, it was the LAST window :( ...), I found that the top of the frame had been blown out when the original balance failed. The top of the frame is veneer at this point, and not structural, so of no matter. But, inside the top channel is a piece which looks like it is intended to stop the top end of the balance to allow the system to work. I've enclosed a photo of the broken piece installed and a photo of the broken piece next to an intact piece.
The window manufacturer (Atrium) is out of business, and of no help, so I am hoping you can identify (and that you carry) this piece. Thanks again for the great result with the balance replacements; here's hoping you can bail this one out, too.

Hi there- thanks for posting!
Take a look at our 18-171 stepped top sash guide. This looks like the closest match, but take a look at the measurements to be sure before purchasing.

Dave Sr,:
Brilliant! I couldn?t find these on your site, but my micrometer says this is a perfect fit. At the price, all windows get new stops to catch their new balances. :)
THANKS.
