Channel Balance for Milestone Single Hung Series 2000

Hello, I am looking for replacement balances for my Milestone Single Hung Series 2000 windows. The balance I removed from the window is stamped with 27E but it seems to measure 28 inches long. Can you help me figure out which replacement balance I need? The series 770 appears to be the correct style, but I don't know if I should get a 27E or a 28E. Thanks!

Thanks for reaching out to us. I believe we can help you with this. First, I would like to start by informing you that the company that made your balance has gone out of business. Because I couldn't see the clip at end of the cord, I can't confirm you have the Series 770 channel balance . However, if you happen to be absolutely certain, then you may want to go with our S770-28 channel balance with a 28E option.
