Channel Balance non-tilt 1/2" Channel width

Question

I need to replace the Channel Balance for 2 windows. They are non-tilt, 1/2" channel width, with winged top guide and winged bottom shoe. I have narrowed the selection to your S385 matching the 1 3/32" depth of the winged bottom shoe. Would you please help me interpret the markings on the current channel balance so that I can select the correct weight? Window 1's channel balance is 21" long (metal portion only), and the imprinted marking reads: 20 9 30# GO CALDWELL. Window 2's channel balance is 15" long and the imprinted marking reads 14 9 KP CALDWELL. Thank you very much.

Thanks for posting! I'm sorry to say that we would not be able to cross-reference the stamps for the balances you are searching for the replacements for. To determine the correct stamp for the S385-21 and the S385-15, you'll need to obtain the exact weight for each of the sashes these balances hold.

Once you have the window weight, you'll be able to chose the stamp you need based on the weight ranges shown on the chart below the product description of each respective balance.
