Channel Balance parts

Question

I'm trying to figure out what replacement channel balances to order for some aluminum, single hung windows. This website has been great walking me through the different options. I believe what I have is a 16" Series 385 (althought the shoe doesn't look exactly the same, but size-wise is exactly right). What I got held up on is the stamp option for the sash weight. I have some different stamps on some of these broken balances that all came from the same building. Do you know which weight I should use? Is there a better weight we should be using. There are a good number of these windows missing the balances because they no longer work. Thanks

I agree, your hardware appears to resemble our Series 385 channel balance. However, I am not sure exactly what option you should use. Your best bet is to weigh the sashes for each balance and reference the option chart found on the S385-16 page to determine the best one to use.
