Channel Balance replacement

Question

Hi,

I'm looking to replace 4 windows with this channel balance. I can't seem to determine whether my channel balance will correspond to your S380 or S385 balance. Please advise.

Thanks for writing in. The only difference between the Series 380 and Series 385 is the 'depth' of the bottom nylon shoe. The depth is the distance between the heel and toe of the bottom nylon shoe at its widest point, just beneath and below where the metal channel ends. See the illustration below for details. In the Series 380, this measurement is 1". For the Series 385, it is 1-3/32".
