Channel Balance shoe. Winged

Hello - Bought a 15-005 shoe to replace broken one, but new shoe doesnt fit onto balancer. My old shoe has a rounded slot to clear clip on balancer and the slot is wider. Seems ok other wise. Please advise

Looks like you have an older version of the 15-005. You wouldn't think that minor design difference would be a big deal at first glance, but I've actually run into the same problem. What I did was carefully cut the slot in the new shoe with a utility knife to make room for that extra metal lip at the end of the channel.

Thanks, I took a dremel to it and works good now. Yes, the windows I purchased in 1996. Thx again
