Channel Balance and Sash Weight

A home owner from Kentucky says:
I am looking at a 34" 770 Channel Balance. The Sash weight is right at 22lb. Would you recommend the B or the C?

Thanks,
Taylor

Hey, Taylor. It's tough to say if it's exactly 22 pounds, without dipping one way or the other. In this kind of situation, I usually refer to the stamp on the original balance. Conceivably, either would work.
A home owner from Kentucky says:
The stamp is actually 33HD. It measures 34" in length. From what I can tell the original one is rated for 24 to 29 pounds. I think I'll go with the 770 Channel Balance, option 34C, unless you have another recommendation.

Thanks!

Hi, In that case, the original was on the heavy side of 22lbs, I do think the 34C is the way to go for a 22 pound sash.
