I have 2 windows I need to replace the channel balances on and the top sash guide. These are Milgard 6210CE
The one channel balance has a 31 5 stamped on it and the other 31DS45 I will also need replacement Top Sash guides which look like the broke they are 1.5 IN in length and 5/8inch wide and 9/16 deep at the top can you tell me which replacement balances I need.
I thin for the 31 5 stamped one I need a S385 3150 but for the other one I am not sure and of. They both have the same ends and are the same length the 31DS45 was on a a window 47inches wide by 70 inches high.

Thanks for posting. This is not our Series 385 balance. This is something that will have to be a special order.
Before we continue, can you tell me if these two stamps (31 5 and 31DS45) are used in the same sash? If so, they really should be the same. Do you know which one was the original?
If they are different, then that's no problem. Please tell me how many of each you need and I can email you an order link and price quote for the quantities requested.
Oh, one last thing. You should confirm that the metal clip at the end of the cord is identical for each. That is an important detail and if they differ we will need to see them.

These are two different channel balance sets one goes on a small window (31 5) and the other 31DS45 goes on a larger window. The reason I thought it was the 385 is because there is another post where a person has a channel balance stamped 31 5 and they were told to use the 385 series.
I need 2 for 31 5 and 2 for the 31DS45
I will need the sash guide for both so 4 fo those as they were the same. The Channel balances looked Identical except for the stamps/.

Oh, great. That'll make things a lot easier. I'll send you an order link for a pair of each balance.
As for the top sash guides, there are about a million possible options, but we will do our best to find what you need. I will need you to remove them from the window and show me pictures so that we can identify them. Specifically, I'd like to see the top sash guide from the front and side. Think of it like a mugshot.
In the meantime, I'll send out those special balance order links.
