Channel Balances Replacement

Question

The channel balances are approximately 28 inches in length and 5/8 inch wide.   I included two different numbers.  The channel balance with the 27-4 marking is for a 36 inch wide x 30 inch tall single hung window weighing approximately 25lbs.  The windows with the 27-3 marking is for a 26 inch wide x 30 inch tall window weighing approx 20lbs.

This appears to be either an S380-27 or S385-27. The only difference between these two balances is the depth of the bottom nylon shoe, or the 'heel-to-toe' measurement, so compare both with your old hardware to see what matches best. Refer to the image below. There's a chance your shoe might have less depth than either of these possibilities; if so, do let me know what the depth is and we'll go from there. For a new stamp option choose 2740.
