Channel Balances for 20 yr old Viking Windows

Question

I need to replace my channel balances for my Viking windows. The balances I have are 29 inches in length and 1/2 inch width. They have a stamp on them that says 2830n (or upside down u). I have sent pictures of the hardware on both ends.

Thank you for posting. It looks like your top attachment is winged, while your bottom attachment is not. Before I can begin, though, I'll have to determine what that bottom shoe is.

Please look at the measurements for our 15-001 and 15-002 bottom shoes and note their depths. As you can see, they are 1-1/8" deep and 1" deep, respectively. Which measurement more closely resembles your own shoe?
