Channel Sash Balance

A home owner from Ventura says:

Hello,

The only stamp on it says "3240 JP"

It's 33" long, 1/2" wide, 1/2" deep.

I'd appreciate knowing the Swisco equivalent of this part, please.

Thanks,

Adam

Hey, Adam. Measure your bottom attachment depth, as shown below. If it's 1" flat, choose S351-33. If it's more than 1", choose S390-33. "3240" is available as an option for both of these balances.

I would get the 3250, myself. It'll be a little easier to lift. If 29 pounds is accurate, there's no downside.

Thanks for the response!

Looks like its a S351-33.

I see the 3240 is rated for 23 to 28 pounds. However, I weighed my window and it was 29 pounds. Should I get the 3250 just in case or would that not fit?

Thanks!

Adam
